“My mother has been a resident at Wallaceburg Retirement Residence for about 1 year. The facility is always clean, tidy, and decorated beautifully for each holiday/season. All of the meals and snacks offered to the residents are nutritional and delicious. All the staff working at Wallaceburg Retirement Residence are caring, friendly, attentive, kind, helpful & compassionate.
The activity director Cathy makes all of the activities, events, and programs fun & enjoyable for each and every resident. Families are always encouraged to be part of the events, programs, and activities. My mother really enjoys all of the events and activities such as, the zoo that came to the residence in the summer and the entertainment (M&M)
Marie Hay the General manager is an amazing person. She puts her heart & soul into the residence. She is approachable, nice, understanding, helpful & empathetic.

“When you put your parent or loved one there, there is no worry. I can’t say anything better because they’re great. They (the staff) watch her, they take good care of her, they have an in -house Doctor. There is a hairdresser, everything, and if she doesn’t like the meals or if she can’t have something they prepare it for her different.
She loves Wallaceburg Retirement Residence, she loves the girls and she’s comfortable there, it’s safe, 3 meals a day, medication regularly. I would recommend anyone to go to Wallaceburg Retirement Residence. It’s very good there.”

“What I do is plan special events for the resident’s. We have outings, Bingos, church services, luncheons where we invite the community to come over for lunch, Christmas parties, and I have a lot of social teas.
I recommend the Wallaceburg Retirement Residence because it has wonderful staff. The staff are not just staff, they take a personal interest. They seem to work well together.
