What makes Wallaceburg special is the people: the staff and the residents.   The staff go a long way to making this a special place for the residents.  According to social director Cathy Phipps,  "I recommend Wallaceburg Retirement Residence because it has wonderful staff.  The staff are not just staff, they take a personal interest. If a resident needs something picked up and family isn’t there, the staff will pick it up and bring it in to them the next morning. They seem to work well together.  The residents get to know the girls and tell them about their families and they love it. At Wallaceburg Retirement Residence some staff have been employed here for many years.  It is one big family.”
